March hols.
19th, went out with Danise, Irene, JiaNi, Brandon, Tiff & Durene to celebrate Irene's advanced birthday as they're afraid they might be busy during that period of time uh. Met Danise, JiaNi, Tiff & Brandon @ around 1. Bought whipped cream & planned everything beforehand like who's gonna meet Irene first & stuff. We're supposed to ignore her & left her out. So we wore red camp tee on that day & we didn't inform her as we wanted to make her feel left out. Afterwards, we had swensens for lunch. Tried something new. I tried grilled chicken burger & it tasted not bad! So I'm gonna try it again the next time. After our lunch, we took mrt down to Vivo to sort of "Play water". But before that, we got to make as if like Danise & Brandon's not in good terms uh. When we reached Vivo, we went Daiso to shop for some decorative materials for Mdm Chan. Didn't managed to find it but still, I bought banana biscuit & I don't think it taste nice though. Okay, that's besides the point. After that, we went to the sky garden & started "playing water". At the time, Brandon cannot take it anymore, so he told us he's leaving & tiff went to stop him. But the fact is, they are looking for birthday cake. So the whole atmosphere was kind of bad because everyone's not in good mood. Afterwards, we started camwhoring & blindfold her & started singing birthday song. She was too shocked till she teared. Hehe. Surprise was a success! After that, we all went back home.
20th, had 4A1'12 class outing over @ Camily's house. We intend to BBQ. So all of us are supposed to get different stuff. Was late for class outing as I had a meeting last minute. Well, & the thing is, imagine wearing Shop & Save uniform over to town. Oh no. Luckily I'm not the only one. HAHA. Dinesh wore that as well! After that, rushed back to our outlet to get the ice & off to Camily's house. It was considered a successful class outing despite all the last minute preparation. Chit chat & took photos. Walked home with JiaNi & JinLeong & started having heart to heart talk. So I told them what's bothering me & I can't believed there's someone out there who felt the same way as me. But well, everything's over you see.
25th, orientation @ NYP. Met Cray for breakfast @ HG1 & we started chit chatting. Took bus 72 to YCK bus interchange to meet Camily. Bumped into Sheila on bus 72. So we went to the lecture theatre & were seated separately as we're from different schools uh. But luckily I'm in the same school as Cray! So I sat with her & we started tweeting & chit chatting when the talk is on. Haha. Because we've exactly no idea what they're talking about. After that, we went to one class & started introducing ourselves & my PEM(which is so call form teacher) is Ms Teo. She's a really nice & approachable lady. Hehe. Class rep was chosen by her respectively & we're supposed to get our timetable from our class rep. So apparently, I'm different class from Cray. But luckily, most of our lessons are the same timing. Phew. My class consists of 16 students, 12 boys & 4 girls. After that, we went off for lunch. After lunch, we went to play team bonding games & it definitely bond the group(half of the class). We were all feeling really tired & we're dismissed.
26th, day 2 of orientation. Visiting different schools & knowing what they learn & what is it about. First stop was library, followed by School of health sciences, school of business, school of engineering, school of design, school of chemical sciences, school of interior design( if I'm not wrong) & lastly, our homeland, School of IT. Had subway for lunch & after everything, we went back to lecture theatre for prize giving ceremony & home sweet home.
28th, day out with my poly friends. It was a really sudden decision as our PEM created a whatsapp group, PFP 1332, so we started chatting in that group & some of us agreed to go out on 28th. Day out with them wasn't that bad afterall. They're really nice, just that we're still kind of awkward uh. So apparently, only 8 went out on 28th. JK, Lyon, Alvin, ZhiHeng, WoJun, Ivan, Felicia & I.
31st, last day of work @ Shop & Save. Yes, some people would be like, why you want work @ shop & save? Why no ntuc blablabla. Well, apparently, I feel that S&S is nearer to my house as compared to NTUC & it's much smaller which means that it would be easier for me. After working for 2 months plus, I've learnt quite alot from the aunties & team leaders. Never fails to involve me in anything & always there for me when I need them. Thanks for all the care & concern. Lastly, I would like to say, working is never easy & money ain't easy to earn. So study hard & make sure you repay your parents & stop wasting their money. Let's just say for example, you worked & you got your salary. Some might want to give some to their parents & grandparents, some will be like thinking, "I worked so hard & earned that money is because I wanna buy the things I like & want". Okay, now back to the topic. What about your parents? They worked so hard to support you, your siblings & their parents, do they actually get to buy the things they want? Of should I say, they rather let you buy the things you want/like thn buying things they really like/want. So please, appreciate whatever things your parents are doing for you.
