Secondary 1 Orientation Camp "Start-right camp". (11-13th February 2009)
Day 1 ;
It was a Wednesday morning. The same old clique (Danise, Irene, Jia Ni, Tiffany, Durene) met @ the round table near the bookshop. After that, we proceeded to the parade square & assembled. Off we go to the foyer & bus to the campsite. I remember one of my camp instructor was Wai Leong. He's a really funny & nice guy. I asked him if there's any high elements activity, he told me no. But ended up, there are! I was really scared as I'm afraid of heights. Reached our campsite, put our stuff & we did tent pitching. Played ice-breaking & Objective Setting so as to know my classmates better. After that, we had lunch. After lunch, we did outdoor cooking. After that, we had our dinner & we had some workshop at some lecture theatre. After that, we had singing session when we're like all so sticky. We had supper & debrief & tada, our favourite! > SHOWER & LIGHTS OFF.
Reflections : Yesterday was the first day of the camp. As usual, went to Bowen Sec. I saw alot of sec 1 bringing such a big bag. When we board the bus, we were so excited about the camp. When we reached the campsite, we put out bags at one place& build our tents. After that, had our lunch. After our lunch, we had amazing race which is the most interesting. & we waited for the toilet so long that we were late for supper. Although our hair were very wet but we have no choice but to sleep.
Day 2 ;
0630-0700 : Rise & shine.
0700-0715 : Flag raising - Singing of the National Anthem, Pledge Taking & Singing of Bowen School Song.
0715-0800 : Breakfast.
0800-1230 : Farmland Expedition.
1230-1330 : Lunch.
1330-1430 : Campfire preparation.
1430-1600 : Abseiling.
1600-1730 : Rock Wall.
1730-1845 : Hang Out.
1845-1945 : Dinner.
2030-2200 : Celebration of the Best. ; Indeed, a really memorable night.
Shower, supper & debrief & ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!
Reflections : Today, I really enjoyed myself as we were so high. The saddest thing is that I disappoint some trainers/instructors as they told me to overcome my fear for height, but I did not. When it was campfire, I was so excited. After we reached, we need to perform, somemore is the first one. We had made alot of mistakes & I am really afraid we will lose.
Day 3 ;
Clearing of floorboards, breakfast, strike down tents, area cleaning, reflections, flag lowering & closing & journey back!
Drama exams (Sing to the Dawn)
Well, before the sports day, we went to eat Mac @ Hg Mall. I remember who's with me! Durene, Irene, Danise, Jia Ni, Elaine, Edlyn, Mei Lin. That was the most memorable meal with my new classmates! We had Mc Spicy for lunch & we're really full. After that, they went to mix different sauces together. EWWWW. Really eew okay! They went to mix chili sauce, tomato sauce, curry sauce, milo, lemon tea, coke. *pukes* The result was really gross. HAHA. After our lunch, we headed to the stadium for our sports day.
Badminton camp 2009.
; Went to the camp early in the morning. Left our stuff on the stage & off for our bonding games. It was a really memorable cca camp I can say. We slept in the hall. Girls slept at the back of the hall while the boys slept near the stage & the seniors slept on the stage. After bonding games, we went to have lunch before we play soccer. After that, we played more bonding games. Had night games with the seniors in the hall. Seniors versus Juniors. Day 2, woke up in the early morning & wash up & off for breakfast. After that, we went to play games. One of the games which we played was to eat lemon, limes, apple, orange. That was the game which cause all of us to be epic. :x haha. But it was indeed memorable. After that, we played water games! After water games, we went to change & off for dinner. After dinner, we had competition in the hall. At about 10 plus, we went to bathe, supper & sleep!
{Badminton Camp' 2009}
2nd December 2009[1st day of th camp]Woke up at 7 plus and thn walk to Durene house to meet her.
After that , we walked to Bowen Sec.
Gather together and we have to sit according to our groups.
I'm grouped with Chong Yang , Qi Kai , Zul , Miao Yun , Aliah , Jia Jun , Gail&& Shafiq.
First game we played was th chair thingy .
We had 6 chairs and we had to pass th chair and move .
We have to move from one end to another end.
Zul put th chair very far apart and i scared i will fall , thn shafiq helped to push th chair towards me and he had to do split.
After that , some groups had finished and they saw us , they kept laughing as Zul really put very far.
After that , we finished and they clapped.
After this game , we played th need hold hands and thn must pass th hula hoop thing .
That game is that we need to pass th hula hoop next to your partner and then you need to run infront after to had do finish . That one , we need to do 2 rounds.
After finish this game , we played floorball.
First game , Eunice's group played with Liang Jun's group.
Liang Jun's group won.
Second game was Chong Yang's group play with Jeanette's group.
Jeanette's group won.
After that , winner play with winner.
The overall winner was Jeanette's group i think .
thn loser play with loser .
Forgot who lose lerh.
Thn we went down to play soccer.
It was really very tiring derh !
All of was super hungry.
After those game , we had our lunch !^^
Chong Yang's group need to serve food .
And i was serving th vege .
Some people don't want it.
After that , we went up to th hall for training.
Afternoon trainingSec 1 girls , annabelle , ShuHui , Cheng Yi , Gail && Cindry.
We had physical outside th PE office .
We played th Dodge ball .
Sec 1 girls inside .
They have to throw th ball at us.
After that , change .
We need to do "Magical Chair".
Everybody put their hands over th partner shoulder.
Quite fun and we need to do 3 sets of 20 push up.
We went back to th hall for our training.
After that , it was around 5 plus , Mr lim called us to rest.
We had our dinner at 6 plus .
And we will be having night tournament at around 7 plus .
Waited for quite long to be my turn.
Thn we around 9 plus , we went to bathe.
10.30 had supper&& 11.15 lights out.
I slept at 4 plus in th midnight&& woke up at 6.18 in th morning.
3rd December 2009 [2nd day of th camp]
Woke up at 6.18 am as i had mention above.
Breakfast at 8.
Training at 9.
Train until 12 , we went to change clothes as we are going to play amazing race.
Thn had lunch first .
After lunch was 'Eating Competition'.
Guess what ?
We are going to eat 1 lemon, 3 lime , 1 orange&& 1 green apple.
It is damn sour !
I really can't take it , but i ate a bit of th lemon.
After that , we proceed to PE room to play 'SPLASH' !
We had to stand on a position and let th person behind to splash on you .
And you need to run to th bottle to twist th water on your shirt to collect water.
After this , we had ' Muddy Experience'
You have to put your leg on a thing to collect th coins .
Damn fun !
After this , we went up to th hall to play memory game .
Damn dizzy.
After that memory game , we played ' shuttle&& tube '.
Is that one person need to serve and you need to use th tube of shuttle to collect th shuttle.
After those games , we went to have dinner.
After dinner , night competition again.
Thn bathe , supper .
Thn i went to sleep straight as my head is damn pain !
4th December 2009 [last day of th camp]Woke up at 7.
Breakfast at 8.
After breakfast , we played two game .
1st game was that we have to untie our hands .
2nd game was that everybody sit in a big circle.
We have to call a opp sex to hit th person beside him/her.
Thn th person next to him/her need to say ouch.
Th person next to th person who say ouch need to call another name .
Those who did not concentrate have to do forfeit.
They have to sit in th circle.
They need to dance using th song 'Poker Face'.
They dance damn funny !^^
Thn we carry on with our last activity which is match.
I partner Miss Lee play against Mei Lin&& a boy(don't know how spell his name).
We won !^^
After that brief and my grouped had 4th but it's alright !
Thn started raining .
We went down to th canteen to wait for th rain to stop thn i went home .

2010's.
Promoted to Sec 2N(A). So I went into class 2A2. Same old faces. :) Hehe. We weren't that close though after our CIP. I really miss my class. :( Our class deco. We drew clouds, sun as well as moon. Our names on the clouds, Mr Derrick Lim's on the sun & Mrs Wong's on the moon. The whole idea of this decoration is that, we're like the clouds in the sky. We need the sun to provide us the light & warmth & we need the moon when it comes to the night. This idea was from me! :D So I didn't know if the class like it. :x Sec 2 was pretty alright & I really had fun while doing my CIP. That was the very first time the class got so unite where some guys went to buy this, buy that & pack here, pack there! Oh yes! We had Marina Barrage outing on the 26th June 2010!

Next up, sports camp! Had 2D1N sports camp inn school but had amazing race outside school. We were grouped with different CCA members & we're supposed to work as a group to win our race. It was a really fun camp as it was the first year the school organized sports camp for us. Bathed & had presentation. They presented certificates to our coaches.
Badminton Overseas Learning Journey (OLJ to Kuala Lumpur KL)
It was a 3D2N trip with my team over to KL. My roommate was Mei Lin & the first thing we did when we reached our hotel was to lie on our bed. HAHA. After that, we went for training & stuff. 2nd night, we had dinner with student councilors. After that, we went back hotel & packed our stuff. It was the first OLJ I went with the team & it was a good one! I really appreciate this trip as I get to know my teammates better through this trip as we're together as one here, without our parents, only teachers & us. So we got to take good care of each other, which is a good thing!

29November2010
It was a beautiful morning & I woke up at 6plus to prepare off to my camp. Called Durene at 6.45am and she told me that she haven't wake up. :O We was meeting at 7am actually. After that, rushed to her house and wanted to help her buy her toothpaste but ended up, not enough time. Took bus 70 with Durene and Meilin at Durene's house bus-stop. Went up th bus like some aunties like that. :X Getting on th bus, no difficulty and everybody's looking at th three of us. Getting down th bus, had difficulty and everybody's looking again. Saw Ashly at th bus-stop. She was waiting fr Christel. :D After that, th five of us went up to th hall together. Move th poles, set up nets and mopped th floor. :D After that, bought racket from Mr Lim. 8am - Training.
Training : Did service before Mr Izwan came. Did warm up and agilities. After that, went down to run around th school. :O It was a tiring day. Ran around th school fr 8 sets. Only made it on time fr one set. :X Boys took over and girls went up fr training. Asked Durene and ChengYi : `Do this look like camp?' They answered no. Did multiples and played games.
Went to 3E5 classroom to put our bags and stuff. Went down to th canteen fr lunch. 2 plus - Played Dodgeball, captain's ball.
Dodgeball & Captain's Ball : At first, I was in th team of Zul. But due to some unfairness because of good players, we had to change group. Went to JiaJie's group. :D 5 plus - Played `Do you love me?'
`Do you love me?' : It was a funny game. Everyone started asking, do you love me do you love me. After that game, we went back wash up. 6.00am - Dinner. 7 plus - Night game.
Night game : Had night games. Partnered JiaJie and we was playing th decider. :O It was stress as everyone was looking at our game. Played against Miss Lee and Ashly. Lost both sets. After th game, we went back to our "room" to take towel all this and went to bathe. :D 10.30pm - Supper.
Supper : Ate 3 breads. :X
Went back to "room". Ate Durene roller coaster. Chit chat, walked around, tour around th school and more. 2-3 plus thn sleep.
